Applications for the 2008 workshops are now being accepted.

Procedure:

In each package, please include a copy of the application form and a sample of writing in standard manuscript format, of less than 10,000 words.  This may be a self-contained story or an excerpt from a longer work.  If it’s a novel excerpt, please include a short (2-3 page) outline of the entire work. 

In the package to Walter Jon Williams, please include a check made out to Walter Jon Williams for the $35 non-refundable application fee.

Tuition

The cost for the entire workshop, including lodging and most meals, is $2800.  You will be expected to pay this amount in full within three weeks of your acceptance. 

At present, no payment by credit card is possible.  Payment by check or money order only. 

Scholarships

At present, scholarships are not available. 

College Credit
We will do our best to cooperate, but you will have to arrange this with your university.
